Guest guest
wise grieve neither for the living nor the dead. For never was I naught nor thou nor these princes of men. Nor shall we cease to be hereafter. For the unreal never was and the real never ceases to be." With Love, Marcia Harsha: Thanks Marcia for that beautiful quote from the Gita. "The unreal never was and the real never ceases to be." To See That Is to Truly See. To See That Is to Be. Seeing is Being. The Seer Is Sight. Here is what I wrote on another list quoting you, Gene and David. It points to the understanding of Advaita and that which is beyond name and form and cannot be spoken of but only indicated. Ramana Maharshi once said that just as an elephant wakes up upon seeing a tiger in his dream, similarly an aspirant wakes up to Reality upon seeing the Guru in the world-dream. "To See means to See. Differentiation implies being far sighted. Interpretation implies being near sighted. Both depend on each other, are relative, and indicate the suffering of illusory knowledge. To wish for freedom and to work for freedom assumes the existence of bondage. Being Is Freedom. Relax into Freedom. That is Gene's message and David's. And has not Marcia taught us that Attitude is everything. Forget permanent and impermanent. Forget freedom and bondage. Forget Samsara and Moksha. Forget about forgetting. To See Is To See. Forget what I said. Now! :--). Harsha
