Greetings all,

I usually don't stick my nose in here but I found myself chuckling

when I read Jan's statement for I am a female and raised two baby girls.

Mind/body connection, hummm. Males are more physical? Well my gals loved

wormies and little froggies and my daughter,Autumn always toddled into

the house with snakes curled around her fingers. They beat each others

bodies in sibling rivalry, raced around the front yard, learned football

and softball from Mom and often called me from the highest tree they had

climbed to come look at them. They were introduced to all sorts of dogs

as that is the business I am in and roughoused with the largest

Rottwielers,Dobies and New Foundlands.

I submit that females have a much better connection because in the

midst of doing all of this they also leanred how to most gently pet an

abandoned kitten that Mom took in. They used the brain/body connection

in control of the little eye dropper that had to be used to feed the

baby sparrows, pushing ever so gently down those tiny and very active

throats. They also connected up with the Reiki or healing process and

used their hands to pet the injured Mother dog and even more gently

hold, kiss and stroke the new born puppy. They encountered and learned

the mastery of sewing and knitting. They would take a break and throw a

ball around, or tear up to the dam across the street for some swimming

and they tear back to learn exactly how to control the mouth and the

breath for the flute lessons. They enhanced their motor skills on the

piano . They found areas in their brain of compositional skills of

making up songs on the guitar. They wore pretty dresses but believe me

they always showed some black and blues from the more physical fun side

of life

Blessings to all,
