At what levels would that be ? I've had all my past lives fall down on my head like cardboard boxes through an attic trapdoor. At one point I thought "Gee, if I only put my mind to it, I might be able to remember every single thing done and thought in all past lives, this and the next." That was pretty scary. Well, in fact, that was how K rose, in order to remember the past. Have anyone else had experiences about this ? Harsha, with your long familiarity with K and awakenings in others, what have you seen with K and remembrance of the past ? Best regards, Amanda. Hello, Any past life experiences I've had have been spontaneous as has any movement of K - I have not tried to pull up past life recall. I'm with Harsha on this - it is too easy to move into imagination. What I realize is any past life experiences that were seen worked as a vehicle to my understanding of my samskaras or 'issues and sometimes the connection was seen immediately and sometimes later. For instance, once I saw myself committing suicide through drowning. For much of this life I had always had a strong desire to simply put an end to my life. At the time of this 'vision' I was not thinking at all of suicide.....however, the issue was to rear it's head again but when it did I was able to see that such a solution was not a solution at all as I had already done that and accomplished nothing by the act. Often relationships in this current life were given clarity through some past life scenes. I've come to the conclusion that such recall is 'grace' and will happen to help us reach "Self". I guess that "self' does not need to see majesty or human power it appears that I was never Cleopatra, Alexander the Great or Joan of Arc . Linda >Best regards, >Amanda. Guest guest
Gloria: I do agree with Linda on this. Unless you are specifically lead into past life memory I would leave it alone. A time will come when it will come up on its own and when it does it is for purpose. Until that time, ego will manipulate the process and just give you one more thing to think about. When spirit does it, you have no choise and no thought involved in the making. It is just there. ---------- > > Any past life experiences I've had have been spontaneous as has any movement > of K - I have not tried to pull up past life recall. Guest guest
I have often entertained the idea that past lives is really a form of recording sort of which anyone can tap into. In other words the lives existed but they were not my past life except in the context that at a certain level of consciousness I share in all of it. So that when I think I am experiencing a past life I am really tapping into a level of consciousness in which time is simultaneous. I have been told by people who have experienced past life experiences that this way of looking at it is just not correct. I think the critical point is that my sense is that the experience is happening right now in the present. Make any sense to anyone else?
