Harsha: Jan has put his finger on the heart of the matter. Apes and monkeys,

cows and donkeys, horsese and skunks, do not read food charts and calculate

protein content. The perspective that Nature is wiser than modern science in

determining the proper diet seems reasonable to me. Fruits and vegetables in

their raw states are likely to have everything needed by the body to function at

an optimal level. One can always add sprouted beans and wheat berries to the mix

if protein issue is a hard one to deal with and weight lifting is a serious

hobby.

Nature gave us this big lump of neurons in our skull that doubled

our lifespans since 1870. (and rising)

 

Don't separate the two. Nature gave us science. It's a gift.

Nature gave us fear too. Man invented commerce, and the circle fear -

science - commerce - relief was closed. Business was booming as never

before....
