However, I have found that "understanding" all this swamp is really the boobie prize, we end up with the fears, and our ideas, beliefs, rationalizations, etc. wrapped around them. What really allows us to let it go is forgiveness. It all becomes "what is", accepted, allowed, embraced, and released from either pole of attachment or rejection. It becomes neutral. Ahhh, freedom. May we all set ourselves free, Cherie
Guest guest
Harsha: Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen. The state of the union is good. Welcome everyone. has now over 150 members and there is a very high degree of spiritual maturity (most of the time) being exhibited there. Generally speaking, things are good because we have several distinguished and experienced moderators at a whose spiritual influence is in the background and is silently felt. We are grateful for their active and passive presence. Ahimsa Council of World Peace and Love (ACOWPAL) is quietly gaining strength. We need moderators for ACOWPAL who are committed to exploring the concept of nonviolence, talking about it, and experimenting with it in practical ways. Ahimsa is needed in this conflicted world. We need Ahimsa to address the conflicts inside ourselves. My teacher used to say that when we go into the dark basement of the unconscious, it is nice to have the divine light lit, so we can see clearly our own fears, uncertainties, guilts, rage, hatred, etc, and then let them go. To let it all go, we need understanding. We need Ahimsa, because Ahimsa is the True Nature of the Self. A commitment to nonviolence is an important step in the spiritual evolution. In Jaina Dharma, Ahimsa is considered the highest expression of the Self-Realized state. Love to all. /.cgi/
