The reason I chose the Messenger is that has been around

virtually since the Web has been around. I trust the software (and

future availability of upgrades) to the companies who have been around

the longest. Also, doesn't have the greedy CEO's that some other

companies (like AOL and Netscape) do (or at least they're "not as bad."

 

 

I also like the integration with 's other services (a "news" tab,

auto-notification of " mail," events calendar, etc.
