Guest guest
Melody Anderson's Nondual Digest is an email forum offering the best of each day's postings from the Nonduality Salon forum. It will suit those who find the hundred plus postings each day on the Nonduality Salon a bit much. It is not a collection of each day's postings, but a selection of nuggets of nonduality from that collection. Also, it is not a discussion list. Subscribers cannot post to it. Give the Nondual Digest a try by going to <//nondualdigest> Thank you, Jerry
Guest guest
By the Indian Mystic Poet Jnaneshwar - Link is on Jerry Katz's website........................Harsha It can be seen, therefore, That he who perceives that there is nothing Does not himself become nothing. The Self has this same unique kind of existence, Beyond both existence and non-existence. The ultimate Reality Is neither an object to Itself Nor is It an object to anyone else. Should it then be regarded as non-existent? In a tank the water may be so clear That it appears non-existent; Though one who looks into the tank may not see it, Still it is there. Similarly, The ultimate Reality exists in Itself, And is beyond the conceptions Of existence or non-existence. JNANESHVAR The book from which this excerpt is taken, is entitled "Jnaneshvar: The Life and Works of the Celebrated Thirteenth Century Indian Mystic-Poet," by S. Abhyayananda. It is published by Atma Books, Olympia, Washington, ISBN 0-914557-02-5. $11.95 U.S.,260pp.
Guest guest
> It can be seen, therefore, > That he who perceives that there is nothing > Does not himself become nothing. I love that!!!! The Creative Mind finds its expression in the abstract thought of poetry. All life is perception and categories of that perception designate our individuality. This is our earthly being and our plan to enjoy the oneness of a heavenly awareness If we allow perception to vanish and search for the nothingness We slip into the void where we find we become all, not just categories and things. This is our heaven, without which we would not have the earth. Nor Earth without our heaven Our perception and acceptance of the opposites endear and develop each with appreciation of the other. 6/5/99 Inspired again, realizing that the joy of knowing the inspiration is also knowing the opposite and giving thanks to both. flute ----- http://www.create.org/healingarts/reiki.htm http://www.create.org/bbs - For Updates on REIKI HB 367 "The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures."
