Guest guest
Dear Lists, Please join the list I created, "Nondual-Contrib." It is a low-traffic group and will not "fill your mailbox." Not only will your contributions help others, but they will help Melody in creating a nonduality E-zine (Jerry Katz's suggestion) by providing her with material for the E-zine. Please be unselfish and join, and contribute whatever you can (even the works of others), or at least crosspost your best original posts to the group (note that the group is for original contributions only, not discussion). Thanks, everyone. To join, send a blank Email message to: nondual-contrib- Here's some info on the group: This list is a contribution-only list for the posting of anything related to Advaita (nonduality). For an explanation of what nonduality is, please visit: http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/umbada/faq.htm Please note that public discussion is not allowed on this list. The list is for contributions only, and any responses to a post should be sent to the original poster (NOT to the list). All contributions to the list are assumed to be in the public domain - NEVER post anything you want to keep a copyright on. Don't let this scare you away - "stealing the material of others" is not something that someone who sees things from a nondual perspective is likely to do. Contributions can consist of anything - poetry, writings, treatises, lectures, silence... you name it, it's valid. Postings from the teachings of recognized gurus or other people are valid, but if the material is copyrighted please keep copyright laws in mind, and post only excerpts that fall under the "fair use doctrine" of copyright law. Once again, the only thing that ISN'T valid is public discussion or comments on posts made. If you have something to say, please reply to the original poster of the message. Please enjoy and learn from this list - and above all, don't be afraid to contribute! Nobody is going to judge you here. Everyone is at a different level of understanding; Even if you're entirely new to nonduality, please post what you have learned. You'd be surprised at how much a person who has "been into" nonduality for a long time can learn from a newcomer. Questions are considered valid contributions, but please think a question through carefully before posting it, making sure you can't get the answer anywhere else. This mailing list is for the education and entertainment of everyone. Without contributions, the list will likely die a quick death, or languish forever in the twilight zone. Post whatever you like, without fear that you will be judged for it, but post. If it's related to nonduality in any way, it's welcome. ----- "God help me, I am merciless with the ignorant." Guest guest
Tim, Why is it not for discussion? This original contribution bit has me puzzled. There are very few pieces of text anywhere that do not refer to other pieces of text. Can you give me an example? Is there a digest you can send or archives as of yet? --Greg (goode) At 02:49 PM 6/4/99 -0700, Tim Gerchmez wrote: >Tim Gerchmez <fewtch > >Dear Lists, > >Please join the list I created, "Nondual-Contrib."
