Guest guest
I read within your posts many great spiritual truths ... but Deep within the mythology of all races, creeds, religions and families ... and infact between the sexes, male and male, female and female ... there is, I have found, a code of silence, a code of secrecy. This code (sometimes taken as an oath) means that, within each of us, there is 'something I will not talk about' ... Within my group, we have worked with many such memories ... But that code of silence also exists between the archetypes of the individual personality. How can I watch the watcher when either I or the watcher is bound by a code of silence?? How can I make enlightenment real ... if the truth of me (past) is bound by a code of silence?? My religious belief or faith can be the subject of a binding code of silence ... particularly if one of my ancestors was a Jew, in Germany during WW2. Until all codes of silence are broken, I cannot be my Self ... because I cannot accept the Truth of myself ... Guest guest
The message <023201beb02e$ca2d4060$2184868b@christow> from "Christopher Wynter" <wynter contains these words: Dear Christopher Having been to AA I feel comfortable speaking about anything or more important listening to anything but a Sai Baba saying comes to mind. "Is the slilence going to be improved by what is said?" ( not an exact quote my memory does not allways serve me well) Once I know in my heart of hearts that I can if I wish speak on a "taboo" subject then there is no great attraction to do so. Unless the silence would be improved. However I do agree with what you say as this is the norm. Chris, I don't want to presume that I understand your meaning here (and I have a hunch that you are referencing from a deep awareness). Can you flesh out these two statements? Thanks, Christiana
