My computer also knows the difference between apples and oranges, if the

difference is programmed into it. Would you say computers can have an ego?

 

Knowing differences does not involve ego, it involves memory... logic...

RAM storage. None of these are ego. Ego is the "me." This computer could

never know itself as a "me," could never desire anything nor cling to

anything, cannot have a sense of "mine." *That* is ego.
