Walking and Talking

Hi Lists,

It occurs to me that after a while on these lists, it's relatively easy to

talk the talk. After familiarity arises with what everyone else is saying,

anyone with even a modicum of intellect can appear "enlightened." You can

talk the talk. But can you walk the walk? That is the question everyone

(and I mean *EVERYONE*) on these lists should be asking themselves.

Talk is cheap, and there's a lot of cheap material floating around here.

Read a few Gitas and a few of the Upanishads, some material by Krishnamurti

and Nisargadatta and Vivekananda, perhaps some Shankara, and the parrot is

awake. Read the words of others here for a few months, and the parrot

starts to squawk along with the rest. You can talk the talk now. You can

gab with the best of them. It all seems to make sense to you now. You are

squawking out nondual blabber. It's all been organized, filed away, the

mental connections are made, you are talking with the masters and

understanding them, and they are understanding you.

But just who the fuck are you? Who are you, really? Huh? Who the hell

are you? Who are you?

Hari OM,

Tim

Hello Tim,

I just love to sit near a flower in the morning and look at it open all

day long then switch to a nice sun set. They have replaced so many books

and do talk so much in their own language always new to discover.

Enjoy,

Antoine
