You're not?

OK.

Now that that's settled I will go about by business and believe what I want.

Thanx...

As many as there are human beings. But with realized beings, the ego is

different. It is a dead shell filled with the Divine, like our dead layer

of skin (epidermis) encloses our body.

'Tis true LeTimG

There is but one ego

and it is mine.

(How many ego's does it take to screw in a light bulb?)

There is one body of Christ.

There is but one ego.

That which is unreal is as unified as that which is...

I could never meaningfully define ego.

(weirdly or otherwise)

What really hampers communication?

Division perhaps? You know every definition is a division.

Often times a definition requires defense from

those who we've divided apart as not being most of us.

I am not concerned with being 'right'. That is truly a heavy cross to bear.

It's ironic how through life we carry enormous weight on our back

only to discover one day that we don't need to...

Then we let it go.

You can be right, dear Tim.

And I will be wrong.

I have no problem with that,

if that could satisfy your yearning.

But I suspect it can not.

Perhaps if I tell you that in my heart

there is a great deal of love and respect for you who are...

Either way, be kind to yourSelf...

Blessings,

David

From my perspective, I don't see any dead shell. Only the One Thing. So

to me, ego is the illusion that there is a self apart. The One Thing "has"

no

self, and functions however it's functioning, without needing a self.

"Realized"

`beings and "unrealized beings" are different aspects of One Thing - which

*is.*

`The things it works through in one individual and the things it works

another are each aspects of its Working. I can see this directly. Each of

us is

operating in the context of One Thing, which is Itself, Reality. My

functioning

as is, is realization, because it is One Thing, everywhere One Thing...
