Tony sometimes I worry that you may take this negating experience too far.

Have you heard it is wise to keep some duality (ignorance) so you don't

drop your BODY??? I am not kidding. Just a hint is all. Warnings are we can

drop all need for body, if you go too far, so won't get chance to enjoy

bringing heaven ON earth IN body.

I hope you will allow yourself the joy of Being in body too (yes we may

call it illusory) Yet is it ours to become AWARE of ~ thence illusion and

reality may enjoy a happy relationship as LOVE.

The paradox is, it is actually our body which is allowing us to become

aware through its ability to act as conductor between unmanifest and

manifest self/Self. All our body helps in this process. Every cell. It is

possible to activate total brain usage ~ for an enlightened Being. Thus is

body important. Very.

I do undersatnd it is important to let go rigid attachment to body, but

then when you Know, descend Heaven on earth through it. Maybe Sai Baba

speaks of this?

Just sharing friend,

Wish you well,

Colette

All I am saying is that to have a human body at all, means existing in the

field of duality.

Sure consciousness is not bound by this.

How can it be called wise to keep up any sense of duality? For a realized one,

there is no duality as everything is resolved into Self. In Advaita it is said,

Knowledge is the destroyer of ignorance. But on realizing the Self the body

doesn't disappear, so it is said that there is no contradiction between

Knowledge and the products of ignorance (appearances like body, world etc.).

The need to drop the body could be called a sentiment, as is the need to keep

the body "eternally" alive. For a realized one, it makes no difference whether

the body lives or dies as Self is shining without support.

Any relationship denotes duality; what you are referring to as LOVE could be

called the interpretation of the reflection in the mind of Sat-Chit-Ananda. When

the mind is dissolving in Self, reflections will disappear.

The game of life could be called a "hide and seek". Once a game has started, it

has to end. Yoga is the science to end that game during this very lifetime.

The material body hardly is the source of attachment. In a reptile, "all" that

matters is self-preservation and instincts. Mammals do have a reptilian brain

too and they can rise above it, more easily when domesticated. "Living in" the

limbic system, the emotions are causing the attachment or could be called

attachment themselves. Unconditional surrender means surrendering emotions as

well; then, attachment will be impossible. Ahimsa and compassion are the result

of recognizing the "inner" law; they are not the product of emotions.

A realized one?

How many realized ones are there?

That's quite dualistic.

What lies beyond knowledge & ignorance?

How would you know? : )

Self must always shine without support

regardless whether we believe we are realized or not.

The body, the world are but a reflection.

Are you realized?

All science is part of the game. Some use yoga to keep playing the game.

What if the game never began?

A beyond is dualistic as well.

Among others, inference.

A question to remain unanswered.

The cliche that there is only one and nothing matters.

Which means, if the game never ends it doesn't matter either :)

As long as there is the sense of having (a body, a car, a spouse, a soul etc.),

duality is the experience. When the sense of

I, me, you, having, losing, gaining etc. has been lost, nonduality is a fact.

That simple and far too ordinary to spend many words on :).
