Guest guest
With Respect Collette ... >From my own experience I perceived that there was a danger of being drawn into various ideas by some of the well meaning people who post to the various lists ... People who had their own ideas from their own experiences ... but most of all, people who wanted to quote what was their latest authority ... all of which can create confusion in the mind of one seeking an identity ... So, this afternoon I spent a lot of time in the silence ... and saw what was happening ... may I suggest, from my experience, that somewhere inside each of us is an individuality that is not a personality ... cultivated on the need for an identity ... that is not subject to the variations of the labels 'Mother' or 'Father' .... That time, patience and allowing are necessary for that identity to express itself ... and that individual identity (or individuality) is one facet of one energy expressing ... and it will do so with a conviction that arises from its own 'divine rightness' in its own authority .. without the need for approval, recognition or acceptance from anyone except the personality of the vehicle of that expression... your own ego self ... and without the need to quote from some other authority, book, or guru ... When the ego self has dissolved the past, all that is left is the acceptance of the individuality of one's own divine expression ... and any reactions come from shadows of the past that are yet to be released as tears ... without thought ... with respect Christopher Wynter Hobart Tasmania wynter Copies of similar posts in this theme can be found in "The Plain Man's Spiritual Notebook" through http://www.anunda.com/anunda.htm my own discussion list anunda can be d to through //anunda 'anunda list' Public Archive: /viewarchive.cgi?listname=anunda __________________
