How about the efforts of Early Christianity through Roman Catholicism to repress through fear and persecution any of those who would indulge in such 'heathen' practices ... We can move beyond Christianity ... only when we acknowledge the repressive nature of Christianity ... THEN we will find, deep under the generations of fear and repression.... a remembering of our spiritual truth ... and only then will Eastern Mysticism have true meaning in the body ... This was in response to someone saying that underneath Christianity is .... etc .... and etc .... > Are you referring to several people on this list saying that your posts > seemed to sound like advertising? Yes ... people are (I feel) reacting to my sounding like a priest telling them what to believe (or reading this into what I write) ... which is a fear based (inquisition ... heresy ... persecution) remembering of "you will do this ... or else ..." ...
