Hello. I'm passing this article on because I feel it can benefit someone or

someone

you may know. Please spread the news...

Harsha: Thanks for this David. We have always welcomed discussions about

nutrition, health, and diet here in the context of physical, mental, and

spiritual health. Jan and David have contributed to such topics before.

David, if I recall you were advocating Whey protein powders a few months

ago, but it occurs to me that whey is a milk product. Given this recent

research, can you comment on whey protein and whether you would still

advocate it. Your knowledge of the latest scientific research on these

matters is greatly appreciated.

For the autistic and folk suffering from schizophrenia there's likely a specific

genetic inability to deal with casein.

Secondly, the protein make-up of whey is quite different than that of casein.

So schizophrenics and those with autism would not have a reaction to whey

isolates.

I know a someone who had been taking whey for almost 2 years and when I

explained to him the benefit it was providing for his immune system, he replied,

"No wonder why I don't get sick anymore!"

Whey is the only protein that improves the efficiency of your immune system up

to 500%. (let alone any percent.)

On the other hand, milk protein is implicated in immune suppression and

disregulation.

While vegetable proteins have other health attributes, because of their

poor biological value, your body has a hard time incorporating vegetable

proteins

into lean tissue. You'd have to eat a mountain of beans or soy isolate to get the

same protein retention as a modicum of first class proteins.

Keep taking that whey shake everyday. It's still the healthiest protein we've

found!
