Guest guest
Hello everyone, This is my first time posting to the list. I've been reading with interest for the last month. When Harsha wrote about Nanak, I had to write. I am reading a book by Tara Singh, and he tells of a great prophet, Nanak. Will you please tell me where I might read more about Guru Nanak? According to Singh, he freed people from their belief systems. I would like to learn more about him. Thanks. Mary Don't ever stop loving....don't even think about it. There is much historical information available about him which can be found in books and on the web. Indian children usually learn to recite poems by the poet/saints like Kabir, Nanak, Tulsidas, and Mirabai in early grades as the lyrics are simple and easy to memorize. Simplicity of the spirit in these poems hides much depth, that if adhered to, overwhelms the personality. Welcome to the Sangha.
