Can you explain what you mean by being unconscious of something? I know what "conscious of" means. It means that there is supposedly an object outside of consciousness, that consciousness apprehends. This can never be proven. (If the object were NOT outside of consciousness, as non-dualism teaches, then it really makes no sense to say "of.") But "unconscious of"? What does that mean? >We are also unconscious of relative mundane >consciousness. Our mind is still in illusion when >unconscious, in sushupti, but in the bliss of >'Brahmaloka'. Advaita says that the mind and body aren't present during shushupti. According to advaita, the Anandamayakosa or bliss sheath is the holder of vasanas and is the sheath that is active during deep sleep. As the repository of vasanas, it is the source of the mind. But there is ignorance and bliss during deep sleep. >Love and Sai Ram, Tony. >Yes Colette, I am a regular 'lead bhajan chanter', ha >ha Tony, where do you chant bhajans? --Greg
