Guest guest
Namaste Brothers and Sisters, Greg, Dan, Gloria et al. Since I started this, 'unconscious of', let me try and put it to bed. ha ha ha Consciousness of the world is essentially Avidya or ignorance for it is a mind function. This type of consciousness is also present in the 'dream within a dream', during sleep. Dream is not unconsciousness, although it plays by itself without ego so to speak. In deep sleep or sushupti one abides in the thinnest veil of illusion. However it is a continual thought of nothing, that is unconsciousness, but it is consciousness of the nothing thought. So ultimately true unconsciousness is Nirvikalpa Samadhi. Being aware in deep sleep would be Savikalpa Samadhi, as I understand it. Consciousness of the Sakti or differentiated, Bliss. I think most have touched or remembered this bliss occcasionally, even without Samadhi. Love and Sai Ram,Tony. Sorry no quotes today, just all my Avidya. ===== http://members.xoom.com/aoclery/ Keep on truckin-Chant the Gayatri! "God is formless. In order to merge in the formless God, you have to give up identification with the body." "There is only one Soul and that is God." Sai Baba.
