Geovani: Beleive me, my grandson d me last year with my real name at the listening-l, and i used it for a couple of weeks (it's on the arquives i guess), but Ivan's name kept on appearing on top of every post, so people soon got confused, ....some would adress posts to Geovani, otheres to Ivan....so i just changed to Ivan. But the funny part started last week. Ivan (the real) is d to some "dating" thing or something like that, with his teenage friends, and i've been pushing the wrong buttons sistematicly......so, his mates would recieve my posts with his name....so, received my last ultimatum....real name or nothing!! Glo:Now admit it, you write these posts instead of like doing crossword puzzles for a hobby, right? They are just brain-ticklers?? Geovani: Ahh!!...thank you for pointing to this....but no...i mean... it seems to be brain-ticklers for the readers - strange - but not for me. As i said to friend Greg (he used to love me till yesterday), i hate puzzles. But i do have fun with this, ...indeed. But i am also not particulary interested wether mind is or not, if mater is solid, or liquid, i just needed to provoque some kind of confrontation. I learned that what we realy need is not what we always want. And what we really need sometimes is something to make us look at our weeknesses. At least i do!! So i act towards others, the way i want others to act towards me. To pat each others head may be very, very pleasant, but not always efective. Glo: You had better stick around!! Even now, I am putting on my thinking cap to ask the most difficult philosphical questions and I expect you to have answers. :) Geovani: You are wellcome...i love it! Geovani:..no..no...i must think up something very fast!!! Glo: Seriously, I have been carefully reading your discussion with Dan. (You just can't tell from my comments.) It just struck me funny how you guys are using those very same mental powers to like "criticize" the mind for using them. Like if its so terrible, why do you keep doing it so much? When I want to actually stop thoughts, the last way for me to do this is to think and analyze how my mind works. I am also not very inclined to be analytical of experiences afterwards, either...for me its more intuitive, feelings, perceptions. I paint pictures or plant flowers or stare at clouds. Geovani: Women are diferent from man in this respect. Women are more sane then man...more mature. But Dan is definitly saner then me.... Glo:Believe it or not, I took many philosophy classes in college and almost majored in it up till the last moment I changed my mind. Apparently, that was one of the very few wise decisions of my youth. Geovani: i know what you mean. I took real aversion to philosphy a long time ago also. Although, i run into realy interesting things every once in a while....I found an old book in the shelf, here, from Hermes Trismagister....made me stare at blank walls!!! Just knew that our friend's Fabia, only doughter (8 years)died in hospital embraced to her mother.....How can we imagine perfection, whille a mother cries for her only doughter? Even knowing that pain and loss is inevitable for us, how can we not love anyway? Life becomes ever more precious. Comfort her as best you can until the pain returns to love.
