In reality - no. But many of us - due to life experiences - do not have the

confidence (without the help of a spiritual guide and practices,

visualizations, etc) to accept this Truth. the Buddha said there are at least

84,000 ways to Enlightenment. I have to agree with him on that - spiritual

unfolding is unique to each individual.

Dan: these "shells" are constructed only of appearance and belief --

nothing more - there is only One, One alone - nothing

to transform - that is the transformation. Nothing obscures It.

Dear Xena, Most Adept Warrior Princess:

Yes, I used to believe this, too. Now I have discovered the Hot Curry method

of Instant (nearly) Satori, and must add this to the list of the previously

well documented 84,000 methods. From now on we should say at least 84,001

methods of reaching enlightenment."

Not to be a nit pick, you understand. Actually, I was hoping you and your

lovely side kick would rush over to where I hang out and "rough me up" a bit.

Not too badly, but enough so that I could have fun and brag that Xena had

"really tried to put me in my place" but I would still be able to walk or at

least crawl real well and look cool to my neighbors who think that if they

just get kicked by a horse or trampled by steers that they have had a tough

day. Heck, I've wrangled with Cattle and Emus and horses and Xena seems a

lot tougher to me.

Blessings

Love,

Zenbob

Ahhhhh! The most direct path ever !:)

Instant nirvana.

There is only one and it's clear my dear:

Forget enlightenment as instant nirvana is here.

Time for teachers and scholars to fear,

they're out of a job: instant nirvana is here.

Forget virtues and discipline as it is all in vain:

Instant nirvana is here and at no pain.

Yogas and meditation can safely be lost:

Instant nirvana is here and at no cost.

The one is the one who always is there.

But without all the shells there is nothing to care :)

84,002!

I experienced instant online awakening on internet.

They didn't have that in Buddha's time!

84,003!

Staying in a town where they had a nuclear plant for a couple of weeks

than moving away.

Does bring the sensitive mind to flower in new ways.

84,004!

Taking the plane.
