Guest guest
Dear Dharma/friends What has happend to me is the opposite in that I have gone from having a "healthy" desire for the opposite sex, mostly un met need, to no desire. I have started on a Bio energy healing course (sinmilar to as in the book Hands of light) and during a routine body chakra skan our instructor quietly informed that my 2nd chakra is inoperative but that he would clear it on the next class in a month. He seemed quite surprised, but we had no time or privacy to discuss this further. By coincidence a friend of mine is a healer and we had a swop lined up her Reiki my practising Bio energy on her. She said she was prompted to skan my chakras first with divining rods. She was surprised also to find the 2nd chakra closed down as she put it. ? is this a sign of spiritual progess and best left aone or should I get my instructor to activate it???? Replies appreciated. However - I am also VERY cautious - about having other practitioners 'do' anything 'to' me. I know that reiki people (and others) always want to help open chakras - I study reiki. However - that chakra may be closed for a reason. Obviously - there are some issues there. It could be a remembered - but now consciously repressed - trauma. Or it could be you are simply physically tired - and need all of your energy for something else. People processing deep emotioal issues - often 'shut down' temporarily sexually. So - to try and force it open - may not be so good. By meditation and Intent - you can begin taking a look-see on your own - and see if anything surfaces. No matter how outrageous or unrelated it might seem - pursue it. See where it goes. my .02 diana
