Today, although the winds in my heart have calmed, the winds in the city practically knocked me off my bicycle. I did not waiver. I leaned into the gust. The invisible became my support. Sometimes it swept up from behind me and pushed me onward. Sometimes it whipped me in the face, almost bringing me to a stand still. I think maybe the wind does not wish to put out my light afterall. In fact, I may just try removing my protecting hand and hold the light up directly in the face of the blasting storm, just to see if it will go out -- or not.
