It's the orientation of the "container" toward >That which animates it, moves through it, can't ever be truly contained -- >that's the ticket in my book. Dharma: Don't try to contain it... ground your feet in the earth and your head in the sky, and let it flow through. Dan: "Containing" what can't be "contained" -- this is our life -- no trying needs to be involved. The ability to provide "resistance" is a necessary aspect of the "flow" of energy, just as with an electric conductor. A person who is incapable of any resistance, incapable of any "containment" of energy, won't be able to direct and use energy with awareness. It does flow through, and that's the beauty - flows through all "containers" constantly and infinitely. >D: It's the opening and the openness that's >worth looking into. >>Dharma: Don't look into it... just open. Dan: Opening *is* looking into it. No "don't 's" to It -- just *being*
