Sai Ram Brothers and Sisters,

The ego comes into man from outside. Notice how a

child talks in the third person about itself. The

mind goes out and brings in information and illusion.

If one is hypnotised and told that a view from the

window is a surf beach or whatever, one will see that,

whether it is true or not. So it is our mind that sees

not the eyes. The mind is none other than a bundle of

thoughts. Mental illness is a point in the field where

a contradiction breaks out. This manifests as

schizophrenia etc. This is from my own experience of

course, not I but family members.

What we are in the body apart from the ego is the

life-force, energy, prana, sakti. When the life-force

leaves then we say that the body has died. This is the

power and experiencing of the divinity within. Within

illusion of course.

The energy, including the body, is divided up into the

concepts of sheaths or kosas. The same ONE energy has

different names and titles, according to function. So

when a large concentration of energy, vital sheath,

leaves the body, permanently, it dies. The vehicles

move on so to speak, and what takes a new body are the

impressions and tendencies.

A new imaginary ego/personality develops in this new

environment influenced by the past impressions and

tendencies. So as individuals we really don't exist,

we are the whole Sakti/Energy/God. Even this is of

course an illusion. This so-called human soul is just

aggregates and energy, not really separate from the

whole. Anymore than a whirlpool is separate from the

sea. Beyond this is Bliss, if we can but 'remember'.

Love and Sai Ram, Tony.
