Guest guest Posted October 26, 1999 Report Share Posted October 26, 1999 THere's a psychiatrist in Paris, one who worked with Depardieu, named Tomatis, who uses music both as a diagnostic tool, to discover when and what sort of trauma occurred by seeing which ranges of hearing are missing, and also for recovery. When Depardieu (a very famous actor in Europe) arrived in Paris he could barely speak and mimed for his acting class. The professor, seeing his brilliant talent, sent him to Tomatis who diagnosed him and played Mozart for him. Within six months, Depardieu had beautiful speech and 99% photographic memory. So the "sound" the electrical pathways of sound, which, thank you Michelle for sharing the correspondences with the chakras, allow the pathways to be re-established. Very interesting, eh?
