Guest guest Posted November 2, 1999 Report Share Posted November 2, 1999 Just for safety's sake, one cannot properly practise an inner tantra (or any class of buddhist tantra) without a spiritual guide/kalayanamitra who has full empowerment and permission normally. You need initiation to do it properly, motivation also. These things are not something to be thrown out just because one reads about a tantra and decides its cool thing to do. These are dangerous energies one is playing with and without proper grounding you can do yourself a lot of damage. Inner tantric initiation carries with it the tantric vow set one of which is revealing the secrets to those not ready.
