Guest guest
I have nothing to let go of - Xan. Thanks though - diana Diana I was going to respond to you off-list but I see your e-mail address is camoflaged. I cannot imagine having nothing to let go of until the personal identity has disappeared completely. As I see it we humans have moment to moment opportunities to recognize and let go of constructed/programmed/identity self to the purity of original unboundaried Self. Letting go of stuff doesn't mean there is anything wrong with me as a personality. Only that 'me' is limited - made of memories, beliefs and expectations - and my heart longs for absolute Freedom. with love xan
Guest guest
Dear Xan: You make a wonderful point below. As we move towards absolute freedom there is much to shed but you are so right it doesn't mean that there is anything wrong....it's just stuff. Sometimes I view it as similar to cleaning a window pane....just layers of grime obscuring the clarity of light. There can come a point in time when one accepts the 'oneness', perception has sharpened and the pain is less than at the beginning of the journey....that is the time when we can easily fall into the trap of thinking we have finished with it all.....our issues are gone, our illusions shattered and we are 'there'. We may be at moments 'there' but until there is no difference between our self and divinity the ego sense of identification still has a few tricks waiting for us. Thanks for the well put reminder that it is all right no matter what. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
