Guest guest
I am writing to say good bye to you all. I am retiring from the 'net for a while. I went to a retreat this weekend with my teacher. He was talking about habitual behavior - and how anything can become habitual behavior. And therefore - become an obstacle. He said - even a spiritual practice can become an obstacle - if it is habitual behavior. I agree. This is basic dzogchen philosophy - And - some of these habitual behaviors canalso be simple but unconscious avoidance maneuvers. Whether it is reading the paper or surfing the net. It is time I turned in my 'board'. I need to surf more in my own consciousness. I have enjoyed this list very much. I wish you all well - diana

Hope to hear from you again after a vacation from the net. I'll be thinking of you. Love and peace, Dharma

In other words, I enjoy reading you, but i have this bad habbit of forgetting everthing else in the amazement of the moment. Until the next amazement of your fingers, touching a keyboard. Feelings could be called hardwired interpretations of thoughts and before something is biologically "hardwired" is has to become a habit first. As the Buddha was one of the very few who was able to burn all conditions for life with the body remaining alive, you are fortunate having a dzogchen teacher. That the thoughts, feelings and body are clear like light for you, indeed, it sounds like you have been fortunate to find such a teacher. That you return or not return, that the light of the Sun is still shared touching us all ... whether seen or unseen :-). Annette
