I find enjoyment in studying the imagery and concepts in many of the imaginative varieties of religion that have been expressed on this planet. Yet to be really clear about reality - I agree with you - this in my mind is true "religion". Ultimately, the images give way, the fantasies are released, the bubble is burst. When practices, teachers, stories, secret doctrines, and elaborate concepts of other worlds are the focus - simple clarity tends to be placed on the back burner. When simple clarity is enough - what religion can claim that as their own "property"? -- namaste --
Guest guest
Dear Dan: Thank you for the eloquent response. There is great comfort in sharing a common base of belief and exchange of ideas where diversity is appreciated and clarity is held in highest regard. I think I will meditate on this a bit. Warmest Regards, Namaste! Blessings, Zenbob (Seeking to unclutter his overly complicated thoughts...)
