There is a fairly well known yogic >tradition of eating meat, drinking alcohol, enjoying unlimited sex to help >achieve liberation. Thank you greatly for this Linda. I have no doubt that even the strictest vegetarians would find the enjoyment of unlimited sex as a vehicle for liberation to be worth considering, or exploring at the very least. Where can more information be found on this? Ho! Ho! Ho! Happy Diwali and Honika and a Merry Christmas and other holidays to all! Ho! Ho! Ho! Guest guest
Dear Ashoka: Yes, I agree. The unlimited sex is a bonus! I suppose that with all of the high protein diet, the drinking and rock music, such strict devotees have plenty of energy for perpetual sex. Let us prepare the book now, as it will certainly be a best seller! Blessings Love, Zenbob
Guest guest
Hi Ashoka: Do not know if I would be so happy just yet.....to be in 'perfect compliance' according to the rites of the Kapalikas (considered to be later replaced by the Aghori order) one would have to gather every spring and autumn for a big orgiastic ceremony. During the rites all 'five M's' would have to be consumed liquor (madya), meat (mamsa), fish (matsya), parched grain(mudra), ritual intercourse (maithuna). The rest of the year these yogis were renunciates. Of course, being the world of yoga I'm sure we can find a teaching or system that allows for unlimited sex. . Thank you for your always kind responses. Namaste, Linda >Thank you greatly for this Linda. No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
