Beautiful post Tony, thanks. Always enjoy the beginning of the Bible in Aramaic ... "Elohim"' ... translated ... "There were Light Beings." El ~ There; o ~ were; him ~ light in plural third person direct object There are other possibilities for translation, but, according to most Aramaic scholars, this is the closest possible. >From the Dead Sea Scrolls, translated by a team of scholars, including a great-uncle, James van der Veldt, (lots of initials here, including some Ph.D.s and M.D.) who i adored ... i have some really odd stories of "knowing" with James when we were on different continents I met him when he was 68 and I was born, he died when I was living in the desert of Arizona. I didn't know as no one told me, and so, I walked for a day and night grief stricken in the desert, listened to Emerson, Lake and Palmer's "The Our Father," cried, and finally, I called home and cried out "Who died? Why am I in agony?" He gave me a great gift in this, as it was the first time i understood my agony was personal, ego, and not related to the joy he felt to return to the Source of Love and Light. I have very beautiful memories of him, with his Roman nose, light blue laser eyes, and shock of white hair, he intimidated the hell out of everyone, including presidents (laughing, who went to their knees which I thought just great as a small girl) except of course me, outrageous child that I was, and luckily for me, he adored me and i was his favorite. Between the Indian, Persian and Roman scholars, i must say i was an incredibly lucky little girl, and now i may listen to all of you, love, light and luck ... my cup runneth over *g* Dead Sea Scroll translation: Jesus said: Blessed is he who was before he came into being. If you become disciples to Me and hear My words, these stones will minister to you. For you have Five Trees in Paradise, which are unmoved in summer (or) in winter Whoever knows them will not taste death. The disciples said to Jesus: Tell us what the Kingdom of Heaven is like. He said to them: It is like a mustard-seed, smaller than all seeds. But when it falls on the tilled earth, it produces a large branch and becomes shelter for the birds of heaven.
