Harsha/the passing of the Buddha

look at various cultures and traditions, there is a wide variety of

opinions about what the right or correct diet is for human beings.

that the physical body associated with the Buddha died as the

result of deprivations that hurt the physical structure, deprivations

that brought the body

near death and which were undertaken during a period

of intense asceticism (self-induced hardship associated with "seeking

for truth"). The Buddha renounced such intense ascetic practices after

"enlightenment". It is also said that the body that humans associated

with the Tathagata passed away at exactly the right time and place

for such passing to occur. As do all such passings. It is said...
