Guest guest
Dear Harsha and Entire Satsangh: Many thanks for all of your kind words, encouragement and repartee, during this season of thoughtful evolvement. I know that each of us has faced many challenges in our personal lives, our spiritual development and the ongoing responsibilities of daily existence, being good people, being reflective, thoughtful and at times, just making the effort to be...and to be in a place of beauty, peace and attunement. I wish to take this moment to express my grateful thanks to all of the "veterans," especially Harsha, without whom so much of our humor, guidance, perspective and guidance would be greatly limited, even absent. I also wish to extend my appreciation to those bright new lights that have managed to keep me in a properly reflective, thoughtful state during my recuperation and gradually increasing participation again. Many come to a point in their lives searching for answers, or making the attempt at renewing their spiritual vows. This seems as appropriate a season as any to mark such transitions. We often feel overwhelmed, even insignificant when faced by a world of problems, adversity and human error or folly that we despair of being able to "make a positive difference." I would liken each person to a tiny grain of sand. Imagine the entire Pacific Coast line as a beach filled with sand. The numbers of grains are beyond reckoning...each tiny, lost in the greatness of the wide expanse. Yet, if we were to remove each grain, one at a time, eventually there would be no beach. And if we were to take just a few grains of sand and continue to move them about some oyster shell, eventually the shell would form a beautiful pearl within it. Sometimes we cannot be the pearl and the grain of sand at the same time. There are moments when we must be the grain of sand...and moments to be the pearl. That is our Dharma and our own best purpose, as each of us see fit. What we realize is not important at every moment...sometimes the work is beyond our grasp. Our duty is always to be true to our inner nature, our highest sense of self evolvement and consciousness. Once we realize that we are all inexorably linked by time and space into an eternal moment of infinite potential, the "now" we can and shall, make wonders of this world and miracles of the lives that we touch. Blessings, Peace, Love and Joy during this Season and throughout the Next Millennium! Sat Nam! Love, Zenbob
