Guest guest Posted January 2, 2000 Report Share Posted January 2, 2000 good morning ! a new snow is melting away, making way for the next flurry of activity. brave birds are brunching in the field and my three horse friends are grazing. remember that sting song: forget the weather we should always be together? this is a song i sing today from the deep. .. and here is a song about the truth that holds me, the trees, the birds the branches, my new friend, ( pet cockatiel) Shanti, and all of us right now! SCENE PASSING once upon once i opened up my eyes saw my own shadow etched across the skies couldn't bring myself to breathe much less the scene believe electricity ran through my bones & fire raged through the trees chorus: time would pass on memories fade grey shades would be drawn and the stars all fade away-- yesterday's news yesterday's smile and i only knew love would survive. just then a pane of window broke and blue and rose poured through an elemental rainbow danced across my quiet room my head felt light my heart grew full i seized the letting go-- it wasn't truth's reflection, but the things i couldn't know chorus now it seems so long since when i waited, thought alone had been cursing that it was myself that so prepared my home but numbness was a fever coldness was a dread i fearless warm myself i am the things the lightning said & chorus, la la la & etc :-) i have learned to love my longing, it is a reminder to come home. . .to where i always already am. blessings and peace, love, gen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
