Guest guest
Thank you Mira for posting your experiences with Maharajji, the young Indian guru of the 1970s And thanks Linda and Holly for your insights into self-esteem and guru issues and comments on what Greg said. Thanks Rainbo and Antoine for sharing about Entropy and love. You guys are totally deep! Thanks Michael for the Kahil Gibran posting. Thanks Dharma about your insightful comments about dreams and Michele for your definition of spiritualism. And Tony, good to hear that you are feeling better. Keep us posted. A lot of people here know what is going on with you. This list has some very wise and experienced people (yogis, and meditators, and knowers of Self) who have been in the "spiritual field" for a long time (decades and decades and life times!). It is a tribute to these gentle and good souls that after all that they have seen and been through, they have not become cynical but are more open, more empathetic, more loving, more tolerant, more accepting, and more willing to share and love. We bow to their kindness and generosity. My feeling is that a true teacher has to be a friend like Greg or Dan or Linda or Bruce or Jill, Mira, Xan, Jan, Zenbob, Dharma, Luan (KKT), Dirk, David, Jerry, Gloria, or Dirk or TG or Holly, Andrew, Gen, Harsha,, ...you know.... I could go on with the names....if I could remember them all. So real guruship is friendship. Guru is ever the Self, and true friends help us see that and discover that. We are in the Heart and we are the Heart, the Core of Being, the Pure Being, the Pure Me, the Eye behind the I, the Eye AM - Eye AM - Eye AM. The Circle of Awareness with no center and no circumference is the Self, intangible, into which all things merge and in which all happenings take place. One enters into That Alone to experience the True Alone - Ness that has no edges at all, which is complete and which can be called All-One-Ness. It Experiences It Self and It is the foundation of Experience It Self. What be said about it, when all words fail. That which is Never Absent need not be sought. It is Recognized as the Self in the company of true friends, in whose tranquil awareness, we can see our own awareness reflected and then see that all is Divine only, All Is Awareness only. You Are That! Love to all Harsha

If I am off the mark here I welcome enlightenment and "gentle" teaching. If now is the totality of the reality then my expression of it is now as I type this, your's is now as you read it. You percieve it in your space and time based on how you see and I do likewise. Seems to me that I must somehow stay in the center "while" I am present in my human form. If not, my energy will be out of balance and I begin wobbling. Being aware of my thoughts, my feelings, and my experiences is all there is and yet my awareness is clouded by my previous thoughts, feelings and experiences which I must never push away or resist. Resistance to what is equals pressure, inner pressure pushing against the outer world who will push back. Michael

Every individual seems to uniquely reflect the light of consciousness through the structure and personality of the mind. Many of the yogic and meditative methods are helpful in relaxing and integrating various levels of mind so that the consciousness which permeates the mind is understood as that which underlies the phenomena of experience. Consciousness itself appears as the tool or the method, that which experiences itself through the medium of the mind, that which allows for the experience of the process of growth and transformation, and that which recognizes itself as its own source independent of the body and the mind, always existing in its own nature. Nothing happens except in consciousness and so it is the beginning, middle, and the end. Harsha
