In answer to a request:- With regard to children in

the Sai-Org. I suppose it must be similar to other

fundamentalist cult and groups.

First of all there is always the teaching that Sai

Baba is 'God'. The junior school or Bal Vikas has a

heavy emphasis on Hindu Gods and Avatars, much to the

exclusion of Moses, Jesus, Mohammed, Mahavira, Nanak

etc. Sai is always tied to Krishna, Rama and all the

other ten, Dasa Avatars.

There is a lot of lip service to 'all is one', but

much pranaming to Sai, Ganesha etc. All names are

mine but everyone knew God's name was Sai!

The 'official' life story of Sai is told and studied

along with some actually very good moral teachings.

This reinforces Sai as good and God. There is much

enforcement and reinforcement of the 'True Believer

Syndrome', and it seems everbody ends up with an

obsessive personality almost.

My own children enjoyed it some extent but then

dropped out completely in their teens. Too

fundamentalist Hindu I think. I had three of my kids

in there, two girls and a boy. Two dropped out

completely but one girl returned and stayed until the

recent revelations. She of course is going through

some trauma and withdrawal right now. Unfortunately I

am getting some of the blame for taking her there in

the first place.

The simple answer is that kids are brainwashed and

indoctrinated from an early age. In some Centres they

have them mindlessly chanting the Vedas!!

The parents and the Bal Vikas do all of this

programming of course. I was lucky that my wife

thought it was all a cult and never would join.

The kids keep much to themselves for 'regular', kids

would have no idea what it is all about and would be a

'negative' influence. In other words they are

alienated from their 'peer groups'.

The children as are all Sai Devotees are told they are

so lucky to be chosen Devotees and that Sai is God.

They have dreams about him and learn to think

everything is done by Sai, and he will protect them

and guide them etc. Some of the dreams are very

'Astral', and are not really dreams as such but

'visits'. They are told that he will save them in the

coming earth disturbances and on into the 'Golden Age

of Sai'.

The kids are not encouraged to mix in Western society,

or go to dances, discos, movies, meat-eating, drinking

alcohol etc.( unless it's the Hard Rock Café and you

give Sai $50million for a hospital).

It is really typical cult stuff and considering the

facts and circumstantial evidence; Mind blowing

hypocrisy, on a previously unseen gigantic scale!!

There are perhaps 50 million devotees, and 6 million

on the 'inner'.

My family is psychic and one of my daughters is

extremely sensitive. She told the other daughter

years ago that this was a cult, that the

materialisations were phony, and that he did bad

things, and was a liar. She was one of the kids that

dropped out. I was too stuck in 'True believer

syndrome', to listen. Oh! How I wished that I had,

'out of the mouths of babes'.

I had some problem with my kids another kid actually

left home, but other parents suffered the loss of

their kids totally along with their spouses. For

beloved Sai, dreaming of the day when he will declare

himself as God/Avatar as he has promised and then all

will be well and everyone will come back.

In the main, ultimately, I think your children will

not thank you for the Sai experience!

Love and Om Namah Sivaya..Tony.
