Here is one among many, well documented by science as a tool of the intellect and not of life, where "science can work only on what is supposed to repeat itself. Anything that is irreducible and irreversible in the successive moments of history eludes science" (Henri Bergson, L'évolution Créative). "At the same time there is a reason to point out the aspect of the repetition of things that intelligence seeks in the first place corresponds to the almost innate inclination of intelligence to reduce movement to immobility and transform time into space.
