Harshaji -

Thank you for your explanation about samadhis.

What is your explanation of sahaja samadhi?

I enjoy hearing descriptions of such states

and explanations of ways that yogis have pursued these.

At the same time, it seems easily to become an esoteric topic,

one where "transformed" states of awareness may become

part of a "spiritual materialism," as Chogyam

Trungpa called it. What I mean is that descriptions

of exalted states of awareness become something

for someone to want to seek or emulate. It seems

that "simply resting in the Heart" as you and others

have discussed Sri Ramana (and many 'disciples') expounding

seems likely to get confounded here. When "special states"

are described and sought, what happens to simply resting

in awareness, to being Who one is here and now? Do you have any

light to shed on this?

Love,

Dan

back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than

the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of

Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality

of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge,
