Yesterday I spent an hour and a half watching the cat breathe. Holly Holly, May I suggest one of my favourites to you? Looking at a flower open and close over, all the day long. The subtlety of this experience has not stopped blossoming within since the taste for that special "state" of being has been born. It is not something to seek as Dan so nicely puts it. Yet it is something I seek like my body seeks heat after working at -50 F. I guess that if I could seek the subtlety of a flower opening or a rock breathing as strongly as i seek heat when it is cold in the climate in which I live this world would be different.
