Dan: Yes - an excellent point. This strikes a chord, for "my own"

work, as well as helping "others".

The body-mind's deepest-seated

fears are related to being alone - fear of abandonment

and fear of loss. Genes that organize our body-mind for

survival tell it that being alone too long can be dangerous,

plus extended aloneness doesn't help the species to

continue itself :-) Deep-seated fears are encountered as

awareness "recognizes" Awareness/Aloneness. The "reality" of

the body-mind is deeply questioned, as resistance to Aloneness

is traceable to anxieties about "not having," and "having no one".

Such anxiety seems to be involved in our very "projection"

of the concept of "object" into "Reality".

As you say, Harshaji, if orientation to the body-mind's reality

didn't include inevitable suffering, why would awareness,

once oriented in this way, even consider relinquishing its

"embeddedness" and "anchoring" in "having" and "having

someone"?

By the way, I am not suggesting having no human relatedness, as

relationship can be considered *as* this very Aloneness -

infinite relatedness with no "objects" involved.

Love, Dan
