Guest guest
Namaste All, Zenbob I don't think that I am looking for another guru dead or alive after leaving Sathya Sai Baba. I find it interesting to back and read from the person whom Sathya stole his name. As I have no guru I am paying attention to all the Saints and what they write. Even though I now do not need to read anymore, to find out how to get to the river. I find reading the Saints a diversion and a relaxation. I do have a guru, the 'inner Guru', Thank you anyway for your advice and warning. I am aware I have to stand within and not look without. The reminder is not wasted. But believe me after this last 15 years I am not looking for any kind of new Guru. I am working on 'feeling', the consciousness within. I think that is what I am doing anyway. Who is Me? Love and Om Namah Sivaya, Tony. ===== Keep on truckin-Chant the Gayatri! That is like suggesting that Uncle Sam Jones, stole his name from "Uncle Sam" the moniker for the US. Sai Baba is a generic term, not a "name" and means affectionately, "holy father" not unlike calling a favorite priest or religious leader "Good Father" or "your Holiness." Your emotional content, in either being deeply enamored of a distant and exotic Guru or being disaffected and disillusioned to the point of now choosing to cast imprecations and invective reflect this syndrome that I was referring to. Neither set up such an expectation, nor suffer from the downfall...merely learn or gain what good things you can, and do not "sublimate" your own sense of self in the process. I am glad to hear that you believe that you no longer need to heed other than your own "inner guru" at this time. I will know that the voice of your own "inner Guru" speaks wisdom, when I can no longer detect bitterness or rancor in your words about those who may have disappointed you. Blessings Love, Zenbob
