This remind me of the time I went to a catholic school for about a year or so in India. Every time, I was late the priest would be waiting at the gate with a huge wooden stick. The first thing I had to do as I got off my bike was bend so that I could be smacked on the behind with the great stick with full power before limping off to class. Then we visited the U.S. for a short time and again I went to a catholic school right next to our house, separated by a fence only. The Nuns there were really nice and took my mother and brothers to see the "Sounds of Music", a movie which I really loved. Especially the song "You are sixteen, I am seventeen,".. The Nuns were very nice there. At school, in the beginning, I used to drink water with my hands (Indian style) from the water bubbler (water fountain) as that is all I knew, and I was not used to drinking straight from the bubbler with my mouth. The Mother Nun would watch and smile as I struggled. Once (to help me out with my feeling awkward) she said, Jesus drank water like that too, with his hand. Eventually I got used to drinking the water like everyone else. Soon after that we left the area and then returned back to India. So in my mind, I have always thought Nuns were sweeter and nicer than priests! :--). Love Harsha
