Let's see - hold no head above mine -- that's an old Zen line that I thought was appropriate in the context of a previous e-mail discussion. Holding no head above mine means that original awareness is here - no need to take what another says about it over what itself is, as it presents itself here. If I really *am* original awareness, I'll recognize the same in you. Although I resonate with what you say, when possible, I don't hold it above my own awareness - that would distort my seeing That which expresses as you is That which expresses as me. Holding no head above mine eliminates twoness of heads - there's just One. Reminds me of a saying I learned as a child - "two heads may be better than one, but not on the same body"!
