Guest guest
Yes, I and others have been taught Metta or Loving-kindness Meditation and it was awhile before I could start with "myself" and then relate to all sentient beings. At the beginning I didnt think this meditation was "grand" enough - sort of trivial - but it was extremely important as it turns out and a ground for what seems to be happening now. Another glitch is the Tibetan teachers are astounded at how impossible it is for some of us to love and serve all sentient beings as our "mothers," Ill say no more. Guest guest
My name is on this, although I'm not sure if you're addressing me, Joyce. If you are - nothing is wrong with thought. I have nothing against thoughts. Thanks for your input. Love, Dan At 08:19 AM 2/14/00 -0500, you wrote: >"Joyce Short" <insight > >Whats wrong with "thoughts?"
