You can really spot the high quality stuff. Can you tell us more about the author and when he lived and wrote. By the way, we love you Tony! You too Zenbob! I just want you guys to hug and chant Sanksrit mantras to each other. I hope that is not too much to ask. :-). > >Love you all >Harsha > Funny you would ask, as I wondered the same thing about the author. I especially liked the artist references in this poem. There are 3 of his poems in a book I am reading, but no info about him. The book is by Marvin Minsky, of MIT's computer department which is about the mind, how we think, what is consciousness. I did a web search and found Melnechuk as a translator of one Lithuanian poem! Also a picture of him at the founding meeting of the Int'l Society for History of Neuroscience in 1995, where he is identified as an American. It looks like he may be basically a scientist who writes poetry on the side, or only wrote a few poems. Maybe I need a better search than infoseek??? I'll send in his other 2 poems when I get time, since you like him. Love, Glo
