Guest guest
A coin has two sides. Does this make the coin dual? Does this make one side jealous of the other? Whichever side of the coin one sees, It is still One and indivisible. There is no discussion over whether it is a sin To show one side of the coin or the other. There are no theological debates; No one tries to dictate to the other how the coin is spent. It is there, and it doesn't give a damn Who possesses it, or what it is spent on. It does not waste its time wondering If it is important to anyone or not. Its day is spent being spent, For it knows its place in the grand scheme. Oh, that we would come to that place Where we are like this coin, Unattached to anything of this world, But being necessary to its function. Oh, that we might be Divine Emissaries Who carry forth our Work with joy And have the fortitude to do it Whether others understand or not! Oh, that we might realize beyond a doubt That we are in this world below, But we are not a part of it; That to treat all with equanimity Is more important than our own importance; That to be a true Leader, a Master of Life Is to become what Life is and so, To blend with it to such an extent That one cannot be told from another.
