Good Morning Dan...

Always great to read your words of wisdom along with my morning cuppa coffee.

This sounds like a great riddle that would be impossible to give an answer

to. In my own search for truth, once I found what I thought was truth, I

kept open-minded. I realized at one point there was no truth. That was a

mind-blower in itself, which really pissed me off. My irkedness (is that a

word to use so early in the morning?? Sounds good... it'll stay) was a red

flag that I was certain, so I opened my mind yet to more of this

no-truth-truth.

Still waiting on an answer since I know if I come up with a really good one,

it's only good for a couple of days pass. Reminds me of Disney World. I'm

just here for the ride, fun, thrills, and illusions, since I can't remember

where I parked my car anyway.

Much Love,

this is called "ultimate awareness" and similar terms

is because people are lost in higher understandings

to its safe "observer mode" as "me", the illusion show is back , with all its

state of art multimidia tecnology.

It was such an exciting ride in itself, and my favorite too! So futuristic

to me.

Wonderful way of looking at this!

The ride from the parking lot to Disney was different than the ride back to

the parking lot. Lots of exciting 'can't wait to get there!' chatter on the

way there... quietness and contemplation, like you said, on the way back.

Could be exhaustion too. LOL

I didn't know that. I assumed you were a born Canadian. Having grown up in

Disney World's hometown, it was fasinating to watch how it changed the life

of the small quaint cowboy town I live in. It now is filled with every

major hotel, restaurants, and attractions. Our two lane streets are now

major highways to all the 'worlds'.

I loved going to Disney, but find the last few years, it just isn't worth

going to anymore. The lines, the overcrowding, the heat, take the magic away

from what it used to be. Even Joshua doesn't like going like he used to.

The illusion lost its magic. Or maybe I'm too grownup these days. :-) I'd

rather spend a day with friends, or get lost in a magical movie for a couple

of hours. Speaking of movies, I recently read on the NDS website what you

said about American Beauty.... still waiting on it to come out on video (in

March), and looking forward to it. Would you give me your take on it? You

had said it had a quality of non-dualism to it, if I recall rightly. I'd

like to watch it from your perspective.

Hi tg,

To me, the best part of Disneyland was always the tram ride

from your car to the entrance. Because it was the moment 'in

between', neither here nor there, you weren't in your car

anymore and you weren't in Disneyland yet. It was in

between. It wasn't yin or yang. It was the nondual space.

The place from which all existence arises. A place that

required no reaction, no judgment. You didn't have to like

or dislike the tram. You only had to 'be' there. You could

contemplate the world that was left and the world that was

coming, but you were in neither of them. Neither of them

existed. It was a taste of pure reality. A taste one could

take with them on every ride in Disneyland or on the ride

back home. Really, when you think about it, the tram is the

most exciting ride, and, very much like life, the one

everyone ignores, misses the significance of, is afraid to

admit they like the best, or is afraid to try to understand.

Did you know that used to go to Disneyland alone, quite

often, having grown up in Los Angeles? What an education. I

find I have no need to do that anymore.

Love,

jerry
