Or maybe I'm too grownup these days. :-) I'd rather spend a day with friends, or get lost in a magical movie for a couple of hours. Speaking of movies, I recently read on the NDS website what you said about American Beauty.... still waiting on it to come out on video (in March), and looking forward to it. Would you give me your take on it? You had said it had a quality of non-dualism to it, if I recall rightly. I'd like to watch it from your perspective. Love, xxxtg Hi tg, I really enjoyed your response and perspectives on Disneyland/World. I haven't been in about ten years, but am looking forward to going again. I might be thoroughly bored with it, but if that's the case we'll have to put together a few hundred million dollars and build our own amusement park. Replace Space Mountain with Mt. Arunachala, the car just sits there. We can save money on building track. Stuff like that. Yes, American Beauty is a very dark comedy about people beautifully caught in the world dream in dark, horrible ways, and about people who have a breathtaking ability to see beyond it. The very last line of the movie is worth the whole movie, I recall. I'll watch it again on video. Hopefully there will be more discussion at that time. It's something about finding such joy and the joy of suchness in his "miserable, little life." I was delighted that such a movie could come out of Hollywood (having worked there for many years). And I loved what you said about the ride between the parking lot and Disneyland. An equivalent for me is the morning after I've come home from a hospital stay. All is peace, between worlds.
