13. Resurrection

================================================

Let he who stands before the Throne

Of the Ineffable Lord of Shiloh,

Not turn aside from his devotion

To tend to the things of this world’s trivia.

Let the dead bury the dead.

Let those who deal in destruction

Tend to their own destructive ways;

But he who serves his Beloved, let stand!

In serving our Beloved one finds Union

With Life and all it is and ever will be;

And the Name of the Holy One, be blessed,

Will be within him, a firebrand of power.

Resting at the feet of the Master Teacher,

He hears without ears the Living Word,

Which instills within him the Hidden Manna

That can be eaten by none but the dead.

If one is dead he is alive,

And if he is alive, he is dead.

This is the Way of Holy Resurrection:

First to give Life, then to kill death!

Were it not for this Holy Pathway

All that is dead would stay dead

And no Life would come forth.

Blessed is he who is both alive and dead.

He is made alive to the Divine Glory,

But he dies to that which is the cause

Of all the destruction and misery

Which is in the world from the beginning.

That which destroys also creates;

That which creates also destroys.

All things come in accordance with Law

And nothing is exempt from its precepts.

The Law of the Cosmos is not just a chain

To bind us to many dos and don’ts.

It is more truly a Key to free us from our bonds

Which we have expertly put upon ourselves!

A person is a free agent, able to choose

To be a bondservant to the Law

Or one who uses it according

To the Design ordained by the Ineffable.

If he chooses the former, he has no excuse

When he gets more than he bargained for.

If he chooses the latter, he can truly rejoice

When he gets more than he bargained for.

Abundance can go forward or retrograde.

Either way, there will be no lack

In that which it supplies, whether it be

That one choose Light or Darkness.

The Law can be no less than it is;

Nor can it do any more than its ordained task.

One who understands this will not be dupped

Into extreme behavior that destroys lives.

Namaste,

~ Charles
